Our History
Our History
Our church was originally established in 1828 and has been active ever since. Our current church building was built in 1876 and has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Meet our pastor, Pastor Ralph Wrightstone
Pastor Ralph Wrightstone
We welcome our senior pastor, Ralph Wrightstone and his wife Judy, to Miccosukee Methodist Church. Pastor Ralph has served in the area for the past 32 years. He has served at Wacissa/Lamont, Carrabel, Waukeenah and Gray UMCs. He served for 10 years at Bethel UMC before being ordained by the Global Methodist Church in June 2026.
We are happy to have Pastor Ralph and his wife, Judy, who live in Monticello, to be a part of our church’s vast history.
